The government has not specified any last date for issuing the card, so until the last date is announced, residents can use their identity cards issued by the state and central government, such as Aadhaar cards, for travel. Government Guidelines for Shakti Smart Card

• The scheme covers state air-conditioned (AC) and luxury buses like Rajhansa, Non-AC Sleeper, Vajra, Vayu Vajra, Airavat, Airavat Club Class, Airavat Gold Class, Ambari, Ambari Utsav, Flybus, and EV Power, etc.
• 50% of seats, except in luxury buses, are reserved for male passengers in road transport corporations, excluding Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC), North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC), and Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses.
• Road transport corporations will be reimbursed based on the actual distance traveled by women passengers.
• The application process and issuance of Shakti Smart Cards through this portal will be completed within the next three months.
• Identity cards issued by the Government of India/Government of Karnataka, with photographs and residential addresses, will be considered for issuing a Void ticket until the Shakti Smart Card is provided.
